Warrior founder and Manager of the St. Louis Cardinals Mike Matheny was with the team on this initial trip. Since that initial trip, two subsequent 13u Warrior teams have traveled to the DR.

The 13u Warriors traveled to the Dominican Republic in 2011 in partnership with the Pujols Family Foundation and GO Minstries. The purpose was to serve the people in those communities and build the bridge to them through baseball.Jan
